When I was awarded this project I was a Sub-Contractor to Granite Construction.

The City of Monterey was not aware that under 6” of soil the site was solid Rock.

Working with the Public Works Department we decided  to set mounds for the sod.

The Plant Material  had no drainage.  A drainage system was designed and installed.

Every time I drive by this project I have words with the Landscape Gods.

But at the same time I’m very proud of this park, because its always looks great.

City maintenance are very good at what they do, here and all park sites.

One more important point.  There is a small path that I installed that is located on the west side of the park, follow this path sometime and watch the sun come up.  Beautiful!!
